Su Teatro at the Denver Civic Theatre:
A time to celebrate; a call to action
Orale Raza y todos.
Felicidades to all of you. The acquisition of the Denver Civic Theatre is a victory for all of us. We look forward to bringing all of our great programming to the Westside. But now the hard work begins. We can not ever put ourselves in a position to lose our sacred spaces again. The purchase of the Denver Civic Theatre issues a challenge to all of us in order to make this project work. We are not past the finish line. We have to raise between $60,000-$80,000 in the next 2 months to close on this project and a total of $200,000 in the next 6 months to make this project a complete success.
Please talk to your family and friends, and let everyone know that we need to get this done. You have been who we have counted on all these years. Now is the time to turn our excitement into action. Please take a moment to write a check, include Su Teatro in your Christmas wish list, and ask your friends to match your gift.
The ball is now in our court. What are we going to do with it?
